FROM THE CIVIC ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

There has been quite a lot of misinformation floating around the park regarding fences in IH.  Article XII, Section 3 clearly states enclosures, including dog houses and wire cages, are NOT permitted.  Basically, anything with a gate.  Border and Boundary fences are NOT permitted.  Animals must be on a leash when they are outdoors.  You cannot build a fenced enclosure to house a dog in your yard. Decorative screening IS permitted.  Let us assure you the Deed of Restrictions will be strenuously enforced on this issue.  Whatever you were told in the past is null and void.  We live in a restricted community and we all need to follow the rules.  We don't care who told you fences are permitted- they are NOT.  Anyone thinking they can just put up a fence is sadly mistaken.  Fences that are currently in the park will be dealt with accordingly.  If you have a question or an issue  with the DOR, contact Rich Moeller or Darlene Osten of the Civic Board.  Hearsay from others is unacceptable. The Civic Association shall at no time have the right to waive any express provisions of these restrictions.  Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated by the entire park.
