To the Members of The Harbor Club
With more reported cases of COVID-19 in Imperial Harbor, the Harbor Club Board has decided to temporarily close all indoor amenities and all organized activities. These will include but are not limited to: fun shuffle, bocce league, billiards, aquacise, library, office and the fitness center. The golf cart and bicycle parade had been canceled.
The Board's objective is to have all our amenities open and running as soon as safe and possible. That doesn't look like it will happen overnight but to obtain any type of freedoms they are asking for everyone's cooperation. Use of the pool will be up to everyone's discretion and risk, the pool will again have a ten person capacity as well as social distancing, new written temporary rules will be posted at each gate. All rules must be strictly followed. Any violation of these rules will result in the pool being closed.
Volunteers will be needed to move pool furniture Sunday, December 20th, at 2:00. We hope to see you there.
Other amenities, bocce and shuffle will be open at the user's discretion. Spray sanitizer and wipes will be provided for everyone's protection and expected to be used. Please contact a Board member if either of these are not available. If you have received the new membership cards for 2021, Board members phone numbers are printed on the back.
As we navigate these very difficult times, please remember,
"Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success." Henry Ford
Respectfully,
Matt Strickling,
Harbor Club President

Date: December 18, 2020
From: Darlene Osten, President, Civic Association
We are making some changes:
1. We will not be at the clubhouse on Wednesdays until sometime after the first of the year. We will let you know when. If you need to pay your dues, please mail to the Civic Association, P.O. Box, 366064, Bonita Springs, FL 34146.
Do not mail cash.
2. It has been decided the risk from Covid-19 is too great to hold a Civic Meeting in the clubhouse parking lot. Therefore, the meeting scheduled for Friday, January 8th has been canceled. We are making plans to hold the election and working out the logistics to that end. The election may not be on the usual date, but it will be close. If there is anyone who wants to run for the Civic Board and has not submitted a form or write-up, please do so now. Send your information to: rmoeller1234@gmail.com. Watch for emails and postings on the Civic board in front of the clubhouse as we try to keep you informed.
3. For complaints: Send to the Neighborhood Outreach Committee at: NeighborhoodOC@gmail.com. Do remember, the committee will need a signed complaint form to process your request.
4. Our scheduled board meeting at the Moeller residence, Dec. 22, 10:00 a.m. is canceled. Instead, there will be a zoom board meeting, same date and time. If there is an issue you would like brought up at the board meeting, please contact me directly at 937-902-5464 or send an email to d_dassoc@yahoo.com.
Our patience and yours are being tested above and beyond. Please bear with us while we continue to serve the community. Wear your masks, social distance and above all stay safe.

HARBOR CLUB NEWS
With much regret the Harbor Club Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Allan Maciejewski our Social Director at the last Board meeting. His sense of humor and quick wit will be missed in the office on Wednesday as well as our meetings.
That being stated things must move on, there are parties to be planned and functions to be enjoyed. As stated in our Harbor Club by-laws Article IV. “A vacancy shall be filled either by appointment by the President with the approval of the Board or at any membership meeting by nomination, second and majority vote.”
Vice President Truman LaFrance will be replacing Allan and filling this position through its term ending in 2022. I would like to thank Truman for stepping up to the plate and accepting this position. We wish him the best. This job requires both time management skills and dedication. It is our belief that he is the right person at the right time.
Both of these position changes leave yet another opening, the office of Vice President. Robert Raczyanski will be taking on the duties of this office until the election in 2021. Bob and his wife Sharon are relatively new here but bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this position as well as a interest to see how things are done. Both will be at Café this Wednesday from noon until one, stop in around the pool and meet them both if you don’t know them or just congratulate them if you do.
